TONY ALBERT: "OUR DIFFERENTIAL IS IN OUR FRESHNESS AND CREATIVITY"

The contents of Motion Pictures are made to attract children from all over the world. And while the economic crisis is affecting business in Spain, the company relies on its abilities and is looking for partners to join forces and expand its catalogue.
The sales director of this Spanish company emphasizes a trend that has been working well for the kids audience: comedy. So he says that Motion Pictures has favored this genre, and it has also raised the target from preschool age children to children between 5 and 11 years of age, and even including all the family, in addition to focusing on content that can be viewed by both boys and girls and "to be as international as possible."
This is especially important to Albert, as the Motion Pictures properties are expected to travel the world. "We tried to make universal stories with characters that avoid only local settings, with stories that can be understood by all children." All these elements come together in Glumpers, a 'slapstick comedy' without dialogue with 104 episodes of two minutes each, in HD and 3D. The executive noted that in Glumpers they have found a type of program that meets those requirements: "Being without dialogue means it can travel the world without language barriers, and being in a small format allows the viewer to match an infinite number of episodes without getting tired and to access them from any device.”
